Founding member of the greenfield Merrill FX pricing & trading platform, based in Singapore.

• Built an FX platform from scratch, including custom RPC protocols & messaging, spot and forwards pricing engine, market data and orders connectivity to multiple prime markets.

• Promoted to Global Technical Lead based out of London. Leading development & QA teams across Singapore & London

Barclays Capital

[2005 - 2005]  Manager, FX Technology

Core FX-Cash team member, developing the Barclays BARX real-time FX trading system.

• Worked in a remote front office Singapore satellite C++ dev team, with remaining developers operating from the London office.

• Notably, in response to increasing latency and rapid client-base expansion, we optimized the price tick delivery infrastructure and are directly attributed with several BARX system performance improvements, including an 85% reduction in total outgoing WAN traffic that eliminated the need for a planned network infrastructure upgrade

Honeywell Software Center

[2000 - 2004]  Senior Software Engineer

C++ software engineering on Windows, with a focus on DHTML accessible COM components. I successfully completed an 18 month project to re-vamp the Experion PKS Alarming presentation sub-system, gaining global recognition and customer praise, culminating in the presentation of an Individual Technical Achievement Award in 2002. Additionally, I championed the code review efforts at the Honeywell Software Center, and spent considerable time educating other developers through in-person code reviews. I participated in the Honeywell Six Sigma program, successfully attaining green-belt certification with a score of 90%
